Tottenham boss Villas-Boas targets unbeaten run-in
By Adam Mazrani

The Portuguese was quick to praise his team, despite seeing their club-record 12-match unbeaten streak come to an end at Anfield, and has challenged them to make a quick recovery
Andre Villas-Boas has called upon his Tottenham squad to regain their foothold on third place and go unbeaten for the remainder of the season following Sunday's 3-2 loss to Liverpool.Spurs had not tasted defeat in the Premier League since early December and remain firmly in the hunt for Champions League football, sitting seven points ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal with nine matches left to play.
Two Jan Vertonghen finishes had put Tottenham ahead, after Luis Suarez's opener, but a mix-up involving Kyle Walker and Hugo Lloris allowed Liverpool to equalise.
A late penalty from Steven Gerrard then condemned Spurs to their first league defeat in 13 games, a result Villas-Boas felt was "harsh" on his side.

"After the run we've had, the lads have been brilliant. We will move on and look forward," Villas-Boas told the club's official website.
"Hopefully we will go on another 12-game unbeaten run. That will be perfect.
"Sometimes you can have a bad day and today was a bad day. We came back into it and did very well but it changed very quickly.
"Overall the performance was good and we feel that we could have won. It's harsh result but we have to move on."
