Redknapp targeting 'at least' five wins from QPR's final 10 games

Latest Everton don't need any more motivation, says Fellaini Previous Next Suarez thanks Liverpool team-mates for goal return

The Rs boss remains optimistic regarding his side's chances of avoiding the drop ahead of the visit of Sunderland, but revealed Julio Cesar and Bobby Zamora are doubts for the game

Harry Redknapp is still optimistic he can guide QPR to Premier League survival despite recording just three wins all season.

The Rs are languishing at the bottom of the table on 20 points - four from safety - but are looking to record back-to-back wins for the first time this term after triumphing over Southampton last time out.

And Redknapp and is targeting a minimum of five wins from their final 10 games, with a projected points tally of 37 come the end of the campaign.

"I've been optimistic all along," he told reporters. "I still feel we'll stay up. We just need to go on a run, we need five wins at least, I think.

"I would take 37 points here and now, I'd take my chances on that if I was offered it. We've just got to keep picking up results.

"We need back to back wins, it's about time we did it. If we can do that, it puts us right back in the picture."

Redknapp has fitness worries within his squad ahead of the visit of Sunderland on Saturday, with both Julio Cesar and Booby Zamora struggling for match fitness.

"We're waiting on them and we're not sure on either," he added. "We'll leave it until the last minute.

"Zamora is obviously a big threat for us and we'd love him to be fit but Jay [Bothroyd] and Loic [Remy] both scored last week, so we'll see how we go.

"Sunderland are strong up front and they've got two very good strikers but we're at home and we need to give our fans something to shout about. We're still in there and we've got a good chance."

Bayern have arrived at Wembley! The legendary Lothar Mattheus will obviously be cheering on die Roten this evening, but he is just hoping that Fussball is the winner tonight:

"The whole world will watch the game," the World Cup winner told Sky Sport Germany. "It electrifies the masses. Never before there was so much talk about a Champions League final than this time.

"Both groups of fans know the whole world is watching. We have to present ourselves similar to the way we did at WC 2006 because it brings a lot of sympathy. Today we have another chance to present Germany in a positive way."

Unfortunately, there were reports of some clashes between rival sets of fans earlier in the day, but, happily, the atmosphere at the ground is wonderfully good-natured.

Former Dortmund goalkeeper Jens Lehmann was present at the Champions League festival earlier and he is tipping his former side for the title: "I think Bayern are a little stronger but if I was to have a bet, I would bet on Dortmund because that would win me more money!"

However, our tipster Hugh Wilson reckons that the value is a punt on both sides scoring in the first half ...

Dortmund are keen: They've already arrived at Wembley. Former Dortmund defender Christoph Metzelder can understand his old side's desire to get to the ground as early as possible. "This is the most horrible time ahead of the match," he told Sky Germany. "The tension is huge on the way to the stadium until you can finally warm-up and get on the pitch."

However, former Bayern boss Ottmar Hitzfeld says it doesn't matter when Dortmund arrive, they're still not going to lift the Champions League tonight: "Bayern has to win the title; it's just their time. They won't let a third final in four years slip away from them."
