Manchester City 'have to win' against Leeds, declares Tevez

The Argentine striker recognises his side have a better chance of lifting the FA Cup than overhauling Manchester United's 12-point lead in the Premier League
Carlos Tevez warns that Manchester City "have to win" their FA Cup fifth-round clash with Leeds United on Sunday.With Manchester United holding a commanding 12-point lead at the top of the Premier League table, the Argentine sees the cup as a more realistic chance of silverware and wants to act accordingly.
"This is a match that we have to win," Tevez told the club's official website. "With us being 12 points behind Manchester United in the league, obviously we want to go ahead and progress in this competition.

"Of course it is going to be a tough match, both teams are going into it wanting to win and so we have to make sure we keep our concentration and give it our best from the very first minute.
"We know that all our matches are difficult; teams do want to beat us and, although we are at home, we are going to have to be at our very best."
The 29-year-old missed last Saturday's defeat at Southampton but is expected to return for the visit of Leeds and Tevez hopes to relive the success of two years ago, when Yaya Toure’s goal was enough to beat Stoke City in the FA Cup final.
"It was a great moment for me," he recalled of the 2011 triumph. "The club at that point had not won a trophy for many years and to be the captain on the day and to lift that trophy, I have to say it gave me great satisfaction.
"Of course, it would be nice to have that opportunity again, I think we have a big chance and so we will be giving our all throughout."
