TEAM NEWS: Cech, Terry & Ba return for Chelsea's fixture against Newcastle
Cesar Azpilicueta, Fernando Torres and Ross Turnbull drop to the bench, while Alan Pardew sticks to the same starting side which secured victory over Aston Villa on Tuesday
Petr Cech, John Terry and Demba Ba return to Chelsea's starting line up for their Premier League clash against Newcastle United at St James' Park on Saturday afternoon.The Chelsea captain makes his first Premier League start since November 11, while Cech replaces Ross Turnbull in goal after missing the club's FA Cup draw at Brentford, as well as the stalemate against Reading on Wednesday.
Demba Ba is preferred to Fernando Torres in attack and spearheads Chelsea's front line from the start for the third time in the league since his move to Stamford Bridge on January 4.
Ryan Bertrand retains his place in Chelsea's starting side, while Cesar Azpilicueta drops to the bench to accommodate Terry.
For Newcastle, Alan Pardew has stuck with the same starting side which secured a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa on Tuesday.
Newcastle United: Krul; Debuchy, S.Taylor, Coloccini, Santon; Perch, Cabaye; Gouffran, Sissoko, Gutierrez; Cisse.
Subs: Elliot, Yanga-Mbiwa, Bigirimana, Anita, Marveaux, Obertan, Shola Ameobi.
