Both teams opt to give their No.2 goalkeepers a run-out in the FA Cup fourth round as Roberto Mancini makes two further changes to his defence but none to the front six

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has given No.2 goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon a starting berth for their FA Cup fourth-round clash against Stoke City.

Joleon Lescott and Aleksandar Kolarov come in as the other two changes as the visitors opt for a much-changed defensive unit, but Mancini keeps the same six players further forward as started the 2-0 Premier League win over Fulham on 19 January.

Matija Nastasic drops out of the matchday squad altogether while Gael Clichy is on the bench.

Stoke City also change their goalkeeper, with Thomas Sorensen replacing Asmir Begovic.

Andy Wilkinson and Ryan Shotton come in for the hosts at full-back, while Kenwyne Jones also starts as the last of four changes from the Potters' 3-1 defeat to Swansea City a week ago.

Geoff Cameron, Dean Whitehead and Peter Crouch are the men replaced and all three start the game on the bench.
