TEAM NEWS: Lucas & Wisdom return to starting XI for Liverpool against Sunderland
Brendan Rodgers sticks with the same attacking players that put QPR to the sword in their last outing, while the Black Cats make just one change as Danny Rose returns
Lucas Leiva and Andre Wisdom both return to the Liverpool starting line-up for the visit of Sunderland in the Premier League.Lucas comes in for Joe Allen in midfield with the Welshman dropping to the bench, while Wisdom replaces the injured Jose Enrique at full-back, with Glen Johnson swapping sides.
Those were Brendan Rodgers' only two changes, so the front three of Luis Suarez, Raheem Sterling and Stewart Downing therefore continue, while new signing Daniel Sturridge is not yet available for the Reds after joining from Chelsea.
As for Sunderland, Martin O'Neill makes just one change from the 2-1 loss to Tottenham, bringing in Danny Rose in place of goalscorer John O'Shea.
Liverpool: Reina; Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson; Gerrard, Henderson, Lucas; Sterling, Suarez, Downing.
Subs: Jones, Sahin, Carragher, Suso, Allen, Shelvey, Robinson.
Sunderland: Mignolet; Gardner, Kilgallon, Cuellar, Rose; Johnson, Larsson, Colback, McClean; Sessegnon; Fletcher
Subs: Westwood, Bardsley, Campbell, Wickham, McFadden, Vaughan, Bramble
