Sir Alex Ferguson slams 'wee club' Newcastle & Pardew: He shoves a ref then criticises me ... unbelievable
The 70-year-old said it was "unbelievable" that the Magpies' boss accused him of harassing referees after the Englishman pushed an assistant, labelling him notorious for haranguing

The Red Devils eventually came out on top of the clash on December 26, Javier Hernandez's last-minute winner handing them a 4-3 victory after they pegged back to level terms three times beforehand.
The visitors' second, which made the scores 2-1, saw Jonny Evans put the ball in his own net however Ferguson was not happy that referee Mike Dean overruled his linesman's offside call and thus allowed the goal.
Dean's failure to sent the Scot to the stands led to Pardew to criticise the official, commenting he may feel "slightly disappointed" looking back, before calling on the FA to hand the United boss a future ban.
However the 70-year-old has now hit back, and with some force, insisting that his opposite number is in fact the worst for "haranguing" officials, citing his calls for a ban as "unbelievable" after an incident in a match with Tottenham where the Magpies' manager pushed an assistant.
He told reporters: "[Pardew] shoves a ref then makes a joke of it, then he's got the cheek to criticise me. It's unbelievable.
"He is the worst for haranguing referees. His whole staff, every game. He was at it the whole game on Wednesday."
The Red Devils boss then went on to lament his team's high-profile status, suggesting the world is more inclined to take note of spats involving the "most famous club in world" instead of a "wee club in the north east".
"It is unfortunate but I am the manager of the most famous club in the world," he added. "Not Newcastle, a wee club in the north east.
"I was demonstrative. I am always demonstrative. Everyone knows that. I am an emotional guy. But I was not abusive. I shouted Mike over.
"We walked towards each other. I was only on (the pitch) three or four yards. That has been overplayed. The problem for me is that the profile of this club is huge."
