The Brazilian has enjoyed a positive start to his career at Stamford Bridge but was disheartened by the snub that left him on the bench for the game but the former Liverpool and Inter Milan man believes there is no rift between himself and the player.
"Oscar is fine. He's a very good professional. We don't have any issue with him," Benitez told reporters.

"It's difficult for them but it's good for me because I have different problems. There's are no issues or problems."
The 21-year-old has only started three of the seven games that Benitez has taken charge of the club following since the sudden dismissal of Roberto Di Matteo last month.
"Oscar will have a lot of time on the pitch and I'm sure he'll be a great player for the club,” he added.
"Oscar's not happy because he's not playing and that's fantastic. There would be a problem if it was the opposite."
