Kolarov bullish over Manchester City's title hopes
The champions have been in faltering form so far this season and currently sit two points behind leaders Manchester United, but the Serbia man insists they are the team to beat
Aleksandar Kolarov believes Manchester City are still the team to beat in the Premier League, despite trailing bitter rivals Manchester United by two points in the table.Last season the blue half of Manchester emerged triumphant as they pipped the Red Devils to the title on a dramatic final day, but this season their form has faltered with disappointing draws against Stoke and West Ham.

"We’ve lost games in the Champions League, but we’re still the best team in the Premier League," the Serbia international told the Daily Mirror.
"If we play the way we know how, we will be the champions.
"If we carry on playing with the same spirit we showed against Spurs, nobody can beat us.
"The smallest teams and the biggest teams all want to beat us and give 200 per cent to do that.
"Everybody wants to beat us because we’re the champions and haven’t lost any games in the league this season. But it can happen that during the season that you have bad moments."
City came from behind to beat Tottenham 2-1 on Sunday and maintained their impressive unbeaten run at home in the league, which stands at 35 games.
"We need to improve on our performance against Tottenham, but we’re going down the right road," Kolarov continued.
"If we keep getting better, it could be good at the end of the season."
