Chelsea captain Terry backs Kick It Out campaign
The Blues skipper is suspended for the clash against Manchester United as he serves his ban for racial abuse but uses his programme notes to support the anti-discrimination cause
Chelsea captain John Terry has given his backing to the Kick It Out campaign ahead of his side's clash with Manchester United. The defender is suspended for the match at Stamford Bridge as he serves his four-match suspension for racially abusing QPR's Anton Ferdinand in October 2011 but used his programme notes to lend his support to the anti-discrimination group's new 'One Game, One Community' initiative.
"This is our dedicated match for the Kick It Out One Game, One Community campaign," Terry wrote in Chelsea's matchday programme.

The skipper expects his side to come out on top against United and maintain their top-of-the-table momentum.
"Having already won away at Arsenal and Spurs, we want to continue our run against teams who will be challenging us in the league as the season progresses," Terry added, before congratulating team-mate Ramires on reaching 100 games for the club in their 4-2 win over Tottenham.
Roberto Di Matteo's side go into Sunday's match at Stamford Bridge knowing that a win would send them four points clear of Manchester City at the summit of the Premier League.
