Solskjaer rules himself out of return to England amid Bolton and Blackburn interest
The former Manchester United striker has committed himself to Molde until the end of current Norwegian Premier League season, which concludes in November
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant managerial role at Bolton. The 39-year-old is committed to current club Molde until the end of the Norwegian Premier League, which ends in November.
The former Manchester United striker has been linked with a number of English clubs after winning the title with Molde in his first season in charge, most notably Aston Villa earlier in the summer and Blackburn Rovers following the resignation of Steve Kean, but Solskjaer appears keen to see out the remaining five games of the current campaign.
"There will always be speculation whenever an English club is looking for a manager,” he told newspaper Romsdals Budstikke.
“There's probably been about 20 names mentioned with regards to the Bolton job, and it's natural that mine's one of them. But it isn't for me right now."
"Blackburn, Bolton - the rumours keep popping up. I don't pay much attention to them [the rumours].
"I will definitely be here until the end of the season, I can promise that."
