Lloris happy to wait for Tottenham chance but eager to 'shake it up a little'
With Brad Friedel on fine form, the French shot-stopper has yet to make a Premier League appearance, but only wants to make it a tough decision for the manager by playing well
Hugo Lloris is desperate for a run in the Tottenham side and plans on "shaking it up", but insists he is staying patient and will let his play do the talking. The France international has not featured for Spurs in the Premier League since signing from Lyon, but was handed his debut in the 0-0 draw with Lazio in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The 25-year-old is now looking to depose Brad Friedel and establish himself as first choice at White Hart Lane, but claims he is not knocking down the manager’s door.

“I want to play,” he told L’Equipe.
“There’s small adjustment period, but I’m not asking 36 questions. I'm calm, I’m happy.
“It’s never easy to join a team doing well once the season has started. It’s the coach’s choice but I'm here to shake it up a little.”
Lloris is No.1 for his country and built up a fine reputation during his time in Ligue 1, but he knows that means nothing now and will aim to establish himself in England by playing well.
“Obviously when you arrive in a new country, you must prove [yourself]. I also think I have a status, but I have to be good as with all that I did in France,” he added.
“It is something to overcome and I'll try to do so with confidence and ambition.”
