RODGERS' FIRST WIN? |
| 23/20 | Liverpool are 23/20 to get their first league win of the season against Arsenal with Paddy Power |
When asked if Sahin could feature against Arsenal, Rodgers told the club's official website: "Yes. Nuri has come here determined to be a success and that's the type of player that we want.
"You see him in training and he's got good technique. He understands the game and he plays with a smile on his face. He's a good guy and he's very intelligent off the field."
With just one point from their opening two league fixtures, Rodgers knows that things won't get any easier on Sunday, as his side face another challenging encounter.
"We know the size of the task. We've got a very, very difficult game against Arsenal. They have been consistently challenging in the top four positions for many years and they will be looking to be up there again this year.
"We have got to have 100 per cent focus and concentrate on our performance. If we perform well and participate in the game tactically we've got a chance to win."
