The 25-year-old has signed a four-year contract at White Hart Lane after Spurs agreed a deal believed to be worth up to €15 million (£12m).
It is thought Spurs will pay an initial fee of €10m (£9m) with the remainder to consist of bonus payments depending on the success Lloris enjoys in north London.

A statement on the club's website read: "Olympique Lyonnais would like to thank the man for his qualities which made him the captain of France and one of the best goalkeepers in the world and his rapport with the whole organisation and the supporters."
In an interview with the Spurs website, Lloris added: "I'm here because I believe in Tottenham. I think everything is ok for the future of Tottenham, we have great players in the team and a great coach and everything is alright and in place to get to the Champions League next year.
"I think we have to prove ourselves on the pitch and I'm here because I believe in, and am ready to give my best for, the team and also the fans."
Lloris has not arrived in time to be included in the Spurs squad to take on Norwich on Saturday, but his arrival puts the long-term future of veteran goalkeeper Brad Friedel into question.
