Tottenham defender Kaboul out for four months after knee surgery
The Spurs centre-back Tweeted that although Thursday's operation was a success, he is now set to miss a large portion of the season as he begins his recovery
Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul has confirmed that he will be sidelined for around four months after undergoing knee surgery.Kaboul was initially ruled out of Euro 2012 after aggravating an existing knee injury whilst playing for Spurs in the final game of last season, before playing a full 90 minutes against Newcastle United on the opening day of the new campaign, only for the decision to go under the knife on Thursday to be made.

The France international Tweeted: "Morning all, surgery done with success..Now looking forward for my rehab.I thank you all for your great support as usual!#comingbackstronger.
"Sorry I forgot to mention how long...Should be 4 months."
Kaboul now looks certain to miss high-profile Premier League matches against the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.
Fellow centre-back Michael Dawson looked on course for a move away from White Hart Lane after the club accepted an offer rising to a possible £10 million from QPR for the 29-year-old.
However, this latest development could see Andre Villas-Boas pull the plug.
