Tevez: Last season's problems with Manchester City are finished

The Argentine striker insists the conflicts that saw him miss a considerable part of the last campaign are all in the past and he could even stay beyond his current contract
Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez insists that the problems which saw him miss months of last season are in the past, and has even indicated that he could stay beyond his current contract, which expires in 2014.The Argentine striker scored his second goal of the campaign to equalise in the 2-2 draw against Liverpool on Sunday, notching his 100th goal in English football in the process, and says he could easily stay at the club.
"I'd have no problem staying," Tevez told Sky Sports. "My family is here, my children are here, I'm happy, my wife is happy. I have two years on my contract, and, yeah, I could stay longer.
"Last year was difficult for me. After I came back, I played and we were champions. That was the best bit of last season.
"A year ago, was the most difficult bit. The problems of last season are finished. Now I'm happy, Roberto [Mancini] is happy, the club is happy. The problem is finished."
Mancini also hailed the striker following the draw with Liverpool at Anfield, stating that it was important for Tevez to carry on scoring for the club.
"Carlos is in great form, and it's important for us that he continues to play like he has for the last two or three games," Mancini added.
