Sigurdsson and Vertonghen settling in well at Tottenham
Spurs' new recruits have only good words to say about joining the club on their American tour, with the Icelandic midfielder hoping to help his new side develop a winning habit

Sigurdsson spent the second half of last season on loan at Swansea City before opting to join Spurs over Liverpool this summer, while the Belgian defender's transfer from Ajax was a drawn-out affair.
"It's been amazing," Vertonghen told the club's official website. "The manager, the staff, the players; everyone has helped me. I'm so happy to play for Spurs.
"Off the pitch, the lads have been fantastic," his new Icelandic team-mate added. "It's been easy to join in and get used to being around them.
"Going away from England and being around them 24/7 has obviously helped that, especially for me and Jan coming into the group. We've all gelled well.
"Overall it's been very good, we've trained a lot, got a lot of fitness work in and played three tough games."
Sigurdsson played a starring role in Tottenham's 2-1 win against New York Red Bulls in their final game of the tour, setting up Gareth Bale and scoring a trademark spectacular strike as Spurs came from a goal down to win the Barclays New York Cup.
He added: "It was a good goal and good to set up Gareth as well. It was a nice strike and great to win the game.
"We want to win every game and get into the habit of winning every game. It was great to finish [the tour] with a win."
