The Magpies thanked the A-League club for their "professionalism and co-operation" in completing the transfer and confirmed the Australian will meet up with his team-mates when they return from their pre-season tour of Portugal later this week.
The fee is thought to be in the region of £400,000 and Good is expected to provide defensive cover for Fabricio Coloccini and Mike Williamson.

He becomes Pardew’s third summer signing of the summer following the arrivals of Romain Amalfitano and Gael Bigirimana.
