Scholes frustrated by Manchester United's late start

The 37-year-old has expressed his disappointment that the Red Devils' opening fixture against Everton at Goodison Park has been rescheduled due to television coverage
Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has revealed his frustration at beginning the 2012-2013 Premier League campaign two days later than the other 18 teams.The Red Devils have had their opening day fixture against Everton at Goodison Park moved from Saturday 18 August to Monday 20 August due to live television coverage.
And the 37-year-old, who came out of retirement halfway through last season and has since signed a one-year extension, insists it would have been better to hit the ground running.

“It's a bit frustrating as you want to get going as fast as you can with a Saturday game and get some points under your belt. But we'll have to wait until Monday night and hopefully we can win the game.”
Sir Alex Ferguson’s squad are currently touring South Africa ahead of the new campaign and the Englishman described pre-season as the hardest part of the game.
“We've only been doing two or three days so we're still a way off being ready for a game," he said.
“Hopefully, in the next 10 days, we'll be ready and raring to go.
“It is difficult. Ask any footballer: it's the most difficult part of the season where you're mainly running with a little bit of football here and there.
“It's vital and we all know what we need coming up to a new season.
“I wouldn't say I look forward to it but I know it's something we've got to do and, in two or three weeks, we'll feel the benefit from it.”
