Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has revealed that he aims to move to a bigger club in the future, with Real Madrid his preferred choice.
The 26-year-old has caught the eye of many after notching 13 goals in his first 13 games for the Tyneside club.
However, despite only arriving in England in January, for €12.5 million from Bundesliga side Freiburg, Cisse has already confessed further desires to eventually move on to a bigger club.
“My long-term aim is to play for the biggest clubs and I want to win the Champions League. I have loved Real Madrid ever since I was a little boy," Cisse told The Sun.
“But I am happy for now at Newcastle. They are a big club - even though they are not a Manchester United or Manchester City.”
The Senegalese international will be playing European football next season with Newcastle, after Chelsea's defeat to Liverpool on Tuesday night confirmed a fifth-place finish for Alan Pardew’s side.
However, with Europa League qualification in the bag, Champions League participation remains a possibility if they claim three points at Everton and Tottenham slip up at home to Fulham on the final day.
