TEAM NEWS: Andy Carroll partners Luis Suarez for Liverpool's League Cup final clash with Cardiff

Craig Bellamy is left on the bench against his former club as Kenny Dalglish keeps faith with the strikeforce which demolished Brighton 6-1 in the FA Cup
Craig Bellamy has been left on the bench against former club Cardiff City as Liverpool prepare for their first Wembley cup final since 1996.

Andy Carroll instead partners Luis Suarez in the Reds attack, while Stewart Downing is also rewarded for an improved display in last week's 6-1 FA Cup demolition of Brighton with a starting spot on the left flank.

Cardiff boss Malky Mackay makes four changes to the side which saw off Crystal Palace on penalties in the semi-final, with captain Mark Hudson, Kevin McNaughton, Rudy Gestede and Joe Mason all returning.
