Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam insists the club can rely on the backing of the Anfield crowd for their crucial League Cup second leg against Manchester City next week.
The 1-0 win at Etihad Stadium has left Kenny Dalglish's side in pole position to make the Wembley final where they will play the winner of Crystal Palace and Cardiff.
Liverpool have not won a trophy since 2006 and Adam sees this as a perfect opportunity to do so.
"This club should be winning trophies,” Adam told reporters.
"We are in a semi-final and have an FA Cup game against Manchester United, too.
"The clean sheet against City will give us confidence and we know it will be rocking for the second leg with our fans.
"It will be one of those magic nights at Anfield and hopefully they can get us to the final."
Steven Gerrard scored the only goal from the penalty spot on Wednesday night and signed a new contract on Thursday.
