The Russian international has been the source of much speculation but his representative says he is willing to return to his homeland if there are no English alternativesTottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has claimed an offer has been made for his client by mega-rich Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala and that the player is considering a move.
Pavlyuchenko has found himself frustrated at Tottenham with Emmanuel Adebayor, Jermain Defoe and Rafael van der Vaart all preferred ahead of him in the starting XI.
His starts this season have all been limited to cup appearances, mostly in the Europa League where he scored twice in six games.
The 30-year-old has spoke out in the past about his frustrations at White Hart Lane and he has made it clear that he wants to move to another Premier League club in order to get more first-team football.
QPR are one club rumoured to be interested in him but his representative Oleg Artemov says Russian club Anzhi, who have former Barcelona and Inter striker Samuel Eto’o amongst their ranks, have already made a bid for his services.
"At the beginning, Roman absolutely ignored Anzhi," Artemov told Tden.ru.
"He wasn't against going back to Russia, but not to the Makhachkala-based team, but Pavlyuchenko is tired of the uncertainty and the lack of match action.
"He has a concrete offer from Anzhi in his hand. This offer is very good and profitable.
"Roman will accept it unless he gets a better offer."
