thumbnail Hello,

Ivorian forward has not featured since being sent off against Queens Park Rangers in October, but could return to the side for the Blues' crunch clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday

Didier Drogba has returned to training this week ahead of Chelsea's meeting with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, according to reports.

The Times claims that the Ivorian striker could feature at the weekend after recovering from an operation to remove a metal plate from his elbow.

Drogba underwent the operation after being sent off in Chelsea's match against Queens Park Rangers, which Andre Villas-Boas' men went on to lose 1-0.

The 33-year old has found himself largely playing second fiddle to Fernando Torres this season, and has only one Premier League goal to his name so far after seven appearances.
