Gunners pair could make last minute additions to the squad, but they are still without Laurent Koscielny, meaning Alex Song is likely to slot in at centre-back again
Theo Walcott and Gervinho passed late fitness tests on Sunday morning and are set to return to the Arsenal team for the north London derby, Goal.com has learned.
But Laurent Koscielny is not fit and has been ruled out of the clash against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Manager Arsene Wenger is ready to persist with Alex Song as a makeshift centre-back alongside Per Mertesacker, as Koscielny, Thomas Vermaelen and Johan Djourou are unavailable.
Walcott and Gervinho, who both missed the midweek Champions League win over Olympiakos, are believed to have come through late fitness tests at Arsenal's team hotel on Sunday morning.
Wenger is likely to restore the pair to the starting line-up, along with skipper Robin van Persie and Aaron Ramsey, who were both rested from the starting XI in midweek.
