Official: Manchester City striker John Guidetti joins Feyenoord on season-long loan

The young Swede makes his third temporary move away from Eastlands after spells with IF Brommapojkarna and Burnley since signing with Roberto Mancini's side in 2008

Manchester City striker John Guidetti has joined Dutch side Feyenoord on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old Swede leaves for the Eredivisie outfit after just one senior appearance for Roberto Mancini’s side, in the League Cup against West Brom last September.

Guidetti began his career with Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna, based in his native Stockholm, and was loaned back after joining City in 2008. The striker had also previously been on loan with Championship club Burnley whilst at Eastlands.

Capped at international level all the way through to under-21 level, Guidetti will be looking for more chances as he adds to his 15 domestic appearances with the Dutch club.
