Spurs boss believes both teams are on par in terms of the quality of both squads, but believes that the Eastlands club's financial muscle means “the sky is the limit"
City beat Spurs 1-0 at Eastlands thanks to a first-half own goal from Peter Crouch, securing the club Champions League football for next season.
But Redknapp, whose side can now only qualify for the Europa League, says that although City have "good players", they are not a better team than Tottenham.
"It seems to me they can go as far as they want to go," Redknapp said. "The sky is the limit.
"They have an owner who can spend anything he wants and they could go out and buy another four or five world-class players in the summer and try to win the Champions League. It won't be beyond them.
"They have good players already but I wouldn't say they are any better than us to be truthful."
