Jamie Carragher insists Liverpool are full of confidence after 5-2 win over Fulham

Defender moves behind Ian Callaghan on all-time appearance list as Kenny Dalglish's side continue revival to keep Europa League hopes alive with five goal drubbing of Cottagers
Liverpool’s Jamie Carragher has highlighted the confidence in the Liverpool squad after his side handed Fulham a heavy defeat at Craven Cottage and has declared the side or keen for every game to arrive.

Carragher, who was playing in his 666th game for the club, which puts him second in the all time list ahead of the likes of Ray Clemence and Emlyn Hughes, is pleased with the morale in the camp of late.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Carragher was beaming, “We’ve been playing well, confidence is good, we’re looking forward to games.”

“Tonight, we started strong and it was just one of those days for us.”

Liverpool ran out 5-2 winners but the skipper was surprised with what Fulham offered in reply.
“We played very well, we got the early goals, the first 45 minutes were not the normal Fulham you see, but when they got the goal after half time we got a little bit nervous, but once Maxi scored again that was the game won.”

The result puts Liverpool into the Europa League spots ahead of Tottenham and welcome Harry Redknapp’s side to Anfield on Sunday in what will be a crucial fixture for both sides.
