Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is determined to continue bringing success to Stamford Bridge, after winning the double in his debut season in charge last season.

The reigning Premier League champions travel to West Ham on Saturday, having scored 14 goals without reply in their opening three games, with Avram Grant’s side having so far failed to score in open play.

However, despite the success last season, and the perfect start to the current campaign, the Italian still believes there is room for improvement.

"In football there are a lot of things, a lot of details that you can always improve," he said.

"Every experience can give you the possibility to improve. I had good experience before I came here and now I think I improved with this experience.

"There are not a lot of differences between Italy and England, but I think the English players have a stronger mentality, they like to work very hard on the pitch every day."

Ancelotti believes that his relationship with his players has continued to grow throughout his tenure, and this is in no small part to his better understanding of English.

"I think it is better if you can explain things, mistakes, without shouting," added Ancelotti.

"Now after one year my relationship with the players is very close, so they can understand me very well and I can understand them very well. If you shout all the time they do not listen."
