thumbnail Hello,

Confidence improving at Old Trafford...

After his penalty miss last weekend cost Manchester United three points against Fulham, winger Nani produced a fantastic performance to help the Reds beat West Ham United 3-0 in the Premier League.

It was an easy victory for the Red Devils who played some lovely passing football to create goals for Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov and the Portuguese midfielder himself.

Speaking to ESPN after the game, Nani was pleased with his side’s victory. "It was a good game, a good performance from the team.

"After the draw last week we were focussed on winning this game. It is important because Chelsea and the other teams are doing so well."

The Portuguese midfielder was a constant threat to the West Ham goal and, had things gone his way, he could have ended the match with four goals, but he was just delighted to have scored and hoped it would continue throughout the season.

"I am working hard every day," he continued.

"I am looking forward to scoring goals and helping my team win games and I hope to help my team win the league."

And the midfielder credited ever improving confidence as the key to his side's comfortable victory. "I think we are winning with confidence," he added. "Today we showed a bit more confidence to score a goal which is very good for us."
