The duo were drafted in by Fabio Capello for the midweek friendly against Hungary and could win their first caps for their country. With the Italian determined to inject some youth into his disappointing World Cup 2010 squad, the decision could be the beginning of a long international career for the pair.
Speaking to the club's official website, Brady believed the news validated the work of the youth setup.
He said: "It is great news for the Academy.
"It is great news for Jack and for Kieran and I am sure they will handle it very well.
"When I didn't see them in the England Under-21 squad I thought they would make the senior side. It seems Capello is making a statement that he wants to bring new blood in.
"It reflects very well for the Academy to have two players picked for England. And remember we [developed] Ashley Cole as well."
