Mexican earns plaudits after Red Devils debut…
By Danny Hart
Arena, who managed the MLS All-Stars against United earlier this week, saw his side lose 5-2 with Hernandez coming off the bench to score in his first appearance for his new club.
The Mexico international also starred for his country at the World Cup, scoring twice in four games, and Arena predicts a bright future for the 22-year-old.
According to Press Association Sport, Arena said: "Manchester United has a global scouting network and they know where all the great players are.
"They were obviously well aware of this young prospect in Mexico and they did a fabulous job to secure him at the time they did.
"He is going to have a learning curve and [will benefit from] becoming a professional in the environment of Manchester United.
"One has to believe he is going to be an outstanding player. He certainly has a bright future."
