Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has confirmed that Brazil star Robinho will return to Eastlands after the international break.

The 26-year-old, who has been on loan at Brazilian side Santos since January, has been linked with a permanent move away from City throughout the summer.

Milan, Besiktas and Santos are all rumoured to be interested in securing the Brazil international forward’s services, while Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed he is not interested in signing him.

"At this moment, no. But it depends on him," Mancini told Sky Sports News when asked whether he had any issue with taking Robinho back.

He added: "The situation is that Robinho will finish his contract with Santos. After that he will stay in Brazil for another week, play for the national team and after that he will return to Manchester City."

Robinho was City’s first marquee signing following their takeover in 2008 by the Abu Dhabi United Group, and has made 41 league appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals.
