Englishman believes that the Reds will be much improved this season

The England international walked in the player’s lounge at Anfield on Monday, and was greeted with pictures of some of the Reds’ greatest triumphs.
Cole looked at images of Liverpool legends like Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler and current team-mates Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.
However, Cole is keen to create his own famous memory with the club, and the midfielder has informed Liverpool supporters that he intends make his own history at the club.
"I left a mark at Chelsea, being part of great teams that won things, Player of the Year and stuff, and I am proud of that,” Cole told The Mirror.
"Even last season, when I kept pushing to try and prove I was worth a start, I made a mark in the double team despite the injuries, and I'm proud of that too.
"Now I want to leave my mark at a massive club like this as well - I'm really excited about it.
"Someone once gave me the advice that when move, you should always make sure you are part of the club. It's a big challenge for me, but I will do that here - I will immerse myself in this club's history and hope we can repeat the success they have had.”
Cole is adamant that the Reds will perform a lot better than they last term, and promises to give his new club 100 per cent of his effort and desire.
"One thing I guarantee is that they club has a player who will give 100 per cent every day, not just on match days, and be part of it, and I am confident we will do much better than last year too.
"This whole club is built on success. You look at the pictures around this place and you can see the history, the tradition, what this club means - and you want to be part of that.
"I can feel the hunger and the desire here, and that's a great base to come from. The gaffer's experience and organisation are another positive and with all the quality players they have here, I am convinced we are in at the ground floor at the start of something here.
"As soon as I walked into this place I loved it and I really do believe we can do something special here."
After spending the last two years fighting injury problems, Cole is prepared to prove that he is ready to hold down a regular starting place at Liverpool.
