The club’s sporting director Marco Branca said the duo will remain at the San Siro next season, despite 19-year-old Balotelli having been tracked by both Manchester clubs, while Maicon is thought to be a target for former Inter boss Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
Branca, however, insists that neither player will be leaving the club this summer, with the club in a good position following their Champions League success last season.
"We are in a very privileged position having won so much and it's true that every day we are receiving calls because everyone wants at least six or seven of our champions," Branca was quoted by Sky Sports as saying.
"Maicon and Balotelli? Balotelli is priceless. At this time, he and Maicon are not on the market.
"When and if there are requests we will kindly examine them but they are not on the market.”
Branca did however admit Balotelli has his admirers, but insists that there will be no discussions over a transfer.
"The interest in Balotelli from both Manchester clubs is real and very strong, but has not reached an official offer.
"There will be no meeting with City on Thursday."
