Aston Villa midfielder James Milner will not hand in a transfer request to force through his £30 million move to Manchester City.
Milner, 24, has been pursued by the Citizens all summer after his impressive performances last term saw him lift the Professional Footballers Association Player of the Year award. A £20m bid was rejected for the England World Cup 2010 star in June and a fresh offer is mooted to arrive in the coming days.
According to The Mirror, Milner is not willing to push through his switch and will only act once a fee has been agreed. He is expected to ink a £90,000 a week, five-year deal if he lands at Eastlands.
