Wolverhampton Wanderers Owner Steve Morgan Confirms Club Are Looking To Bring Chelsea's Michael Mancienne Back Next Season

Wolves hopeful they can lure young English star back to Molineux...
Wolverhampton Wanderers owner Steve Morgan has admitted that his side will soon enter into negotiations with Chelsea over taking Michael Mancienne back to the Midlands club next season.

Mancienne is currently on a season-long loan at Wolves from the Blues and is unlikely to feature in Carlo Ancelotti's plans for the forthcoming season.

With the high level of competition within the Chelsea squad at centre-back from the likes of John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho, Alex and Branislav Ivanovic, the England Under-21 international may decide a move back to Wolves is the best option.

"We would like to see Michael again," Morgan told the Mail Online.

"There's a conversation to be had with Chelsea.

"He has been a great [loan] signing for us."

Mancienne has played a big role in Wolves' avoiding relegation this season, having made 30 Premier League appearances for the club.
