Sir Alex Ferguson Determined To Claim Double Record With Manchester United
Scot wants Red Devils to finish season as England's most successful club...

Glory this season would make it four titles on the trot for the Old Trafford outfit, who lead Chelsea and Arsenal by two points as the final straight approaches.
Furthermore, it would be United's 19th overall triumph in the English top-flight, making them the country's most successful club - a title held for so long by their arch-rivals, Liverpool.
“The record we are chasing is four titles in a row - that would be fantastic,” Ferguson said. “And if we get the 19th, it would be the most in the league’s history.
“It doesn’t matter who we beat for that, it is a record. And a record is a record. We’ve got a chance.”
It hasn't always been smooth sailing for the Red Devils this term, due perhaps to teething problems with the reconfiguration of the team following Cristiano Ronaldo's departure last summer.
Still, they sit top of the pops, and Ferguson pointed to last weekend's hard-fought victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers as evidence of the squad's spirit and desire.
“Last Saturday against Wolves was for me the best indication of our chances,” he said. “We’ve had those kind of games over the years, where the players are prepared to battle it out against a determined team.”
