Inter Midfielder Patrick Vieira ‘99% Likely’ To Join Manchester City On Loan Until The End Of The Season
Arsenal legend set from Premier League return...
Goal.com UK understands that Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira is set to join Manchester City on loan during the January transfer window.
Vieira is said to be unhappy with life in Milan, having played only four games this campaign.
Though the club have declined to formally address what they label "speculation", sources working closely with the club throughout the forthcoming January transfer window confirmed that the deal was "99%" likely to be completed as early as this week, and certainly before the close of the transfer window at the end of the month.
The 33-year-old is keen for an opportunity to play first team football as he looks to nail down a spot in France's squad for next summer's World Cup finals in South Africa.
Vieira was signed for Inter by new City manager Roberto Mancini, and was a key part of the side which won three consecutive Serie A titles.
