Less Pressure At Chelsea Than There Was At AC Milan - Carlo Ancelotti
Italian calls on Blues to stick with current management staff...
Esteemed Italian tactician Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that there is less pressure at Chelsea than there was at former side AC Milan.
Blues boss Ancelotti, who has over-hauled the club's tried-and-tested 4-3-3 formation in favour of a diamond tactic that has accommodated both Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba up front, further stated that it was imperative that the Stamford Bridge board now stick with the current management staff.
"Every year I am thinking about this. I had problems in the last year in Milan. It is normal for a coach to be discussed this way," the Blues boss is reported to have said in The News of the World.
"It is important to maintain control and not to be too afraid or worried because coaches are judged by results and that is the case in every country.
"It is more difficult to change 22 players than it is one coach," he added. "This is the problem now when teams are not playing well. If you have to change something you change the manager.
"Now is the time for Chelsea to stick with the same coach for a lot of years. You just have to work and work and work. Here there is less pressure than when I was in Milan.
"There are often a lot of stories but it is important to stay focused on your job. You need to be calm and quiet. That is the most important thing."
