Wigan Athletic Forward Olivier Kapo Set For Boulogne Move
Frenchman to join on loan for rest of the season...
Wigan Athletic forward Olivier Kapo is set to join French Ligue 1 outfit Boulogne on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 29-year-old missed the first three months of the season due to a knee injury and he has failed to force his way into Roberto Martinez’s side.
Boulogne, who are struggling to adapt to life in the French top flight, are hopeful of completing the deal in the next few days.
Sporting director Bruno Dupuis told L'Equipe: "He is one of a few players we are looking at, we are hoping to bring in two or three players."
Kapo made his name in English football after scoring against Chelsea on his Birmingham City debut in 2007 but after the Blues were relegated he was snapped up by former boss Steve Bruce at Wigan Athletic.
The former France international failed to cement his place in the Latics side and scored just once in his 20 league appearances.
