Real Zaragoza To Offer Jermaine Pennant To Aston Villa - Report

The Aragons are eager to offload the winger...

Jermaine Pennant could be set to return to English football after only half a season in Spain, with Real Zaragoza apparently about to offer the winger to Aston Villa.

The Daily Mail reports that the former Liverpool man has struggled to settle in at the Spanish club after signing a lucrative three-year deal in the summer.

The language barrier has apparently proved all but impossible for Pennant to overcome, with the 26-year-old relying on an interpreter for even the simplest of training ground instructions.

Zaragoza have therefore decided to move the player on and Villa is a possible destination, claims The Mail.
