UEFA Confirm CSKA Moscow Will Not Be Expelled From Champions League - Report
Russians to remain in competition despite two players failing drugs tests...
The suspensions occurred because the CSKA doctor had failed to inform UEFA that the pair were taking medication for a throat infection when they played against Manchester United on November 3.
UEFA's disciplinary committee will now meet next week to make a ruling on the two players' cases before the draw for the knock-out phases of the Champions League.
The duo did not play for their side against Besiktas last night because of their bans.
However, the club, who finished second in their group to Manchester United, will be able to continue to participate in the competition.
