Danny Murphy & Andy Johnson To Return For Fulham's Midweek Blackburn Bout - Hodgson
Fulham boss expects Cottagers pair to shake off injuries.
Fulham manager Roy Hodgson is expecting influential captain Danny Murphy and experienced striker Andy Johnson to return for the Cottagers' midweek Premier League clash with Blackburn Rovers after the pair appear to have overcome their respective injuries.
Murphy has been recovering for the past six weeks after sustaining knee ligament damage while Johnson has been sidelined with a groin complaint.
"It's good to see them back in training," Hodgson informed Sky Sports.
"They have done two training sessions now and the good thing is that in both sessions, they have come through totally unscathed.
"Having them available this week isn't out of the question.
"The longer I can leave it for Danny and AJ, the better it is," he added.
"Who knows when I have to throw them back in? But they are both in contention."
Hodgson's other two injury concerns, Erik Nevland (virus) and Diomansy Kamara (foot), are also nearing returns.
