Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger Believes Patrick Vieira Must Leave Inter To Chase World Cup Dream - Report
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has allegedly said that Patrick Vieira must quit Inter if he intends to regain his place in the French national team ahead of next summer's World Cup.
However, the former Monaco manager stopped short of inviting the former Gunner to north London.
Vieira has lost his place with Les Bleus after falling out of favour with Jose Mourinho at San Siro.
"He must change club in January if he wants to play in the World Cup," Wenger told French radio station RTE, according to The Sun.
"He doesn't play enough. What he's missing is playing time.
"To go to the World Cup at his age [33], you must play.
"But I think Patrick can regain his starting place for France."

When asked if a return to Arsenal is on the cards for Vieira, 'The Professor' supposedly said: "If I had to bet, I would put my money on another country [not England]. It's complicated for him to come back to this country."
