Manchester United Star Rio Ferdinand's Legs Are Fine - Agent
Agent solves case of crocked centre-half...
Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand does not have a problem concerning his legs, according to the player's agent.
Rumours were doing the rounds that the England international had one leg shorter than the other, which in turn was said to be the cause of his back problems. But his agent, Pini Zahavi, has moved to quell such rumours.
"I can assure you there’s no truth in it whatsoever," he is quoted in The Mirror as saying.
"I spoke to Rio about it – he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
"The stories of him having one leg shorter than the other have been doing the rounds for weeks."
Zahavi then touched upon the subject of recovery, and claimed that the 31-year-old will be as fit as a fiddle in three weeks.
"Rio is having treatment and has just started training," he said.
"If his recovery continues to go well he could be back playing inside three weeks."
