Goal.com UK asks you to pick your Three Lions XI for Saturday's friendly…England manager Fabio Capello won widespread praise for the manner in which he oversaw an almost impeccable qualification campaign, amassing 27 points from a possible 30. But how difficult is the Italian's job, really?!
Goal.com UK asks readers to name the XI they'd put to the field when the Three Lions tackle five-time World Cup winners Brazil on Saturday.
England, though, have been ravaged by injury. A makeshift back four will have to be selected due to the problems experienced by Glen Johnson, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole.
Talismanic forward Steven Gerrard and experienced midfielder Frank Lampard are also out for the foreseeable future. England's fringe players will therefore need to be called upon, and what better opportunity to convince Capello they are worthy of a place in his final World Cup selection.
Here is the available squad list:
Robert Green, Ben Foster, Joe Hart.
Wayne Bridge, Wes Brown, Matthew Upson, Joleon Lescott, Stephen Warnock, Gary Cahill.
Gareth Barry, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Michael Carrick, Jermaine Jenas, Ashley Young, James Milner, Tom Huddlestone.
Wayne Rooney, Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch, Darren Bent.
We ask you to leave your choices in the comments feature below using semi-colons to separate positions, and working from right to left. For example, here's a side that could line up in a 4-4-2 formation:
Warnock - Upson - Cahill - Bridge
Milner - Carrick - Barry - Young
Rooney - Bent
Brittania rules the waves, according to a popular chant sung by England supporters – now it's time for her to rule Brazil. Come on England!
