However, following on from Saturday's 4-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, the central midfielder was insistent that there is more to come.
"Because I am scoring it looks like I am playing
better, but I don't look at it like this.
"Maybe in other years I was getting in the same position but I wasn't scoring.
"I don't think I was at my best against Wolves but because I scored a goal it looks different.
"I know how to measure my performance and what I have to improve on."
Arsenal have scored 55 goals in 19 matches in all competitions this season, including 36 in 11 Premier League games. Should they maintain their goal-scoring hot-streak in the league then they will far surpass the 100-goal barrier.
