Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas was pleased to seen his side beat Wolves on Saturday evening, despite not ever reaching top gear.
"I don't think we played to our best today" The Gunners skipper told ESPN
"Fair play to them, they started well but once we got the goals we controlled the game. Although it was disappointing to concede a goal late on"
Arsenal were 4-1 winners on the day, with Fabregas on the scoresheet putting one ahead of team-mate Robin Van Persie as the Gunners top scorer. But it's something that Fabregas is not concerned with.
He added "I didn't even realise (he'd overtaken Van Persie). I'm not worried by it, as long as they team wins and everyone is doing what they can, that's what matters".
Two own goals and a striker from Andrei Arshavin completed the scoring for the Gunners.
