Dimitar Berbatov: Premier League Title Race Is Between Manchester United And Chelsea
Bulgarian expects Blues challenge to last...
Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has declared Chelsea to be the Red Devils' main Premier League title threat this season.
The two go head-to-head on Sunday at Stamford Bridge, with the hosts currently top of the table.
However, a win for United would see them leapfrog the Blues and the Bulgarian expects the rivals to continue battling it out for the remainder of the campaign.
"I always think Manchester United and Chelsea will be the top two and I don't think this year will be any exception," Berbatov told MUTV.
"They will be our main rivals for the title. They have great players and a great coach. Everybody knows that. It is still early but I think the title will be between us two."
Berbatov also suggested Sir Alex Ferguson's men know what to expect from the encounter, but have enough to beat Carlo Ancelotti's side.
He added, "We know it is going to be difficult. Chelsea have some really great players.
"But we have a really strong team too. They need to be wary of Manchester United because I believe we have what we need."
